National Nursing Week Open House

The Faculty of Nursing is inviting the University Community to join in celebrating National Nursing Week 2013. The Open House is a time for all of us to recognize the contribution nurses make to the landscape and well-being of individuals, families, and populations.

The theme this year is "A Leading Force for Change".

Nursing will be serving free cupcakes at 10:30 a.m. in the Education Pit to the first 300 visitors on May 10.

Participants can also join the Nursing Faculty for a hands-on experience in the Education Pit. They will be able to experience how to: deliver a baby; save a baby from choking; take blood pressure; measure body fat; and other significant health demonstrations.
