The University of Regina and the Canadian Association of Management Consultants Agreement

The University of Regina and the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that facilitates Levene Graduate School students in achieving the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation.

"We are pleased to be able to work with the Canadian Association of Management Consultants to support Levene graduate students who wish to receive the CMC designation," said Dr. Gina Grandy, Dean of Hill and Levene Schools of Business, University of Regina. "Through our partnerships, such as this new agreement we have with CMC-Canada, we are able to complement the exceptional graduate programming we offer with enhanced career advancement opportunities for our Levene students. Our new agreement with CMC means Levene graduates complete their degrees just steps away from an additional designation."

"Management Consulting is a great career choice for Levene Graduates," said CMC-Canada's Executive Director Michael Brennan. "Demand is high in nearly all economic sectors and CMC certification is the best way to demonstrate the highest skill level in a crowded market. We are very pleased to extend our relationship with the University of Regina."

The general objective of the agreement is long-term research and educational collaboration between the parties with an initial focus on educational preparation for the CMC designation. The Levene School will offer courses in personal/interpersonal skills, project management, and the process of management consulting that comply with the requirements of the CMC designation. The required Ethical Behaviour course will be available through CMC-Canada directly or through the University's engagement of a CMC-Canada trained facilitator.

CMC-Canada will provide program participants and annual student membership rate of $75.
