This project deals with the formation of disinfection by-products (DBP) in SK communities as a result of the post-chlorination technique used in water systems. The project includes the formulation of a cost equation, using a granular activated carbon filtration system as a treatment system to reduce DBPs, as well as design considerations for the most economical and efficient application of the technology to meet required regulations.en_US
