Abstract

The University of Regina has received substantial funding from the Sylvia Fedoruk Canadian Centre for Nuclear Innovation in the amount of $1.475 million. The funding will go toward the Fedoruk Chair in Nuclear Imaging Technologies and equipment. “This funding will advance the University of Regina’s research in nuclear imaging, but more importantly, it will benefit Saskatchewan’s health care system and the people of our province,” said President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vianne Timmons. “I would like to thank the Fedoruk Centre for recognizing the expertise of our faculty members, and for providing the opportunity for us to work even more closely with the University of Saskatchewan in an area of applied research that will have such a positive impact on our communities.”
