Saskatchewan with an Aboriginal Majority: Education and Entrepreneurshipen_US
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the economic transformation of the Eastern European immigrants and their descendants and to ask whether it will happen again for Aboriginal people in Saskatchewan. There were two principal paths that the immigrants took to escape poverty: education and entrepreneurship. This paper will ask three questions about both of these paths. How was the path followed? Why was the path followed? And will the path be followed again?en_US
