dc.description.abstract | The authors presented the need for the involvement of the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) in the development of general continuing education for catalogers. Citing the results of several studies, they documented the need and recommended that the PCC adopt a leadership role in this area. The paper was prepared for discussion at the November 2001 meeting of the PCC Policy Committee held at the Library of Congress. | en_US |
