dc.description.abstract | Accurate control of DC motors forms the basis of a number of interesting products. This project is a proof-of-concept for a DC motor control system. A user interface consisting of an LCD display and menu system allows the user to monitor sensor data and provide set-point inputs for the operation of a DC motor. A closed loop digital PID control system controls the DC motor speed bi-directionally. The control system is microcontroller based, and provides the user with voltage, current and temperature data in real time. | en_US |
