dc.description.abstract | Canada has one of the safest food safety systems in the world. It has created a system that includes regulation, inspection, enforcement, research and education. The various orders of governments, the food industries, retailers, the distribution networks, consumers and farmers all contribute to the safety of the food that we consume. Even so, our food safety system is not infallible as Canada, along with other countries, has experienced a number of serious food safety incidents in recent years. | en_US |
