| dc.description.abstract | The study of salt contamination in the Wascana Creek Sub-basin is an integral part of a recommendation made by SWA in one of their source water protection plans for Saskatchewan. This study analyzes historical water quality data and snow, ice and water quality results from samples collected in the Regina area to determine the effects due to the use of road salt and water softeners. Results show lower than expected concentrations of chloride and sodium in Wascana Creek. | en_US |
