This report details my experience developing and completing a research project at Family Service Regina (FSR) which is an accredited, non-profit community organization that provides a variety of support services within the City of Regina. The goal of this research project was to gain foundational knowledge and understanding of the issue of sex trafficking in Canada which included identifying the gaps/needs in services specific to individuals who are trafficked, and an exploration of how the practice of social work can contribute to meeting the needs of those trafficked. This document will discuss reviewed literature on sex trafficking and will provide an overview of the data collected through eight interviews that were conducted with organizations currently offering support services in this area, or who are interested in providing services. A list of recommendations for consideration by FSR has been included.en_US
