The University of Regina Career Centre offers a wide variety of programs and services to support students (future, registered and non-registered), alumni and staff with the development of their career. The Career Centre offers resources and services in four main areas:
- Co-op Education & Internships for combining studies with paid work experience
- Assistance with exploring educational and career opportunities
- Job searching resources and services (e.g., resume prep, mock interviews) for finding summer,
part-time and full-time work
Career Exploration & Counselling
- Assistance with exploring options and making informed educational and career decisions and re-decisions
- Services and resources for conducting career-related self-assessment (e.g., interests, personality, values)
and researching different fields and career opportunities.
Co-operative Education & Internships
- Most programs in Arts, Business Administration, Engineering and Science offer opportunities to combine studies
with paid work experience
- Career fairs and events held throughout the year (e.g., Careers Day, Education Career Expo, Summer Job Fair,
Kinesiology & Health Studies Career Fair, Volunteer Fair) - Career-related seminars offered on choosing a career direction and developing job searching tools and
skills (e.g., resume and interview prep) - Online job banks for finding part-time, summer and full-time work
